Bottlenose dolphins are amazing animals that live in tropical and warm oceans. They are very intelligent mammals with big brains. These dolphins are very social and travel together in groups called pods. To talk to each other, they use a complex system of squeaks, whistles, and clicks. They also use these sounds like an underwater radar to find fish. Dolphins are great hunters and work as a team to catch their prey. They are also very fast and can swim over 18 miles per hour! They have excellent vision to see underwater. Just like humans, dolphins need to come to the surface of the water to breathe. They often enjoy being near people, too. These smart and friendly creatures are truly wonderful!
