The wolf eel is an amazing sea creature. Even though it is called an eel, it is actually a very long fish! These animals live in the northern Pacific Ocean. You can find them near rocky reefs and kelp forests. A wolf eel can grow up to seven feet long. They are excellent predators because they have very strong jaws and sharp teeth. They like to eat crunchy food like sea urchins and crabs. Even though they look scary, wolf eels are known as gentle giants. They are very loyal animals. A male and female wolf eel often stay together for a long time. They like to spend their days resting in small holes in the rocks. They have unusual faces, but they are very special. The wolf eel is truly an amazing animal of the sea!
