05 - The Deep Blue Sea
Title
Deep Blue SeaReading Text
The ocean is deep. The place where an animal lives is called its habitat. Some fish live in a warm, sunny habitat near the top. But if you go down, down, down... it changes. This is the Deep Zone. There is no sunlight here. The water is heavy. It pushes on your body. This heavy weight is called water pressure. It is also pitch black. But some animals here make their own light! This is called bioluminescence. The Anglerfish has a glowing lamp on its head. It uses the light to attract food. It captures its prey with sharp teeth.
