Reading Text
The cheetah is an amazing animal and the fastest land mammal on Earth. Most cheetahs live in Africa. They have beautiful yellow fur with black spots. Cheetahs are very fast, but they can only run for about 15 seconds before they get too hot. They use their strong legs and unique spine to take long steps. A mother cheetah looks after her cubs for two years. She teaches them how to hunt and stay safe. Cheetahs have incredible eyesight to find food during the day. They hunt while the sun is up to avoid lions. Lions are bigger and often try to steal a cheetah's dinner. Even though they are speedy, cheetah populations are shrinking, so we must protect them. They are truly perfectly amazing animals!
