Reading Text
Western lowland gorillas are amazing animals that live in the forests of Western Africa. They are mostly vegetarians. This means they like to eat roots, fruit, and wild celery. Gorillas can climb trees, but they usually prefer to stay on the ground. These animals live in big family groups called a troop. Every troop has a leader. The leader is a strong male called a silverback because he has silver hair on his back. He decides where the group will eat and sleep. Baby gorillas stay close to their mothers for a long time. Youngsters love to play and copy their fathers to learn new things. They are very social and strong creatures!
