06 - The Busy Bees
Title
The Busy BeesReading Text
Bees are very hard workers. They live in a big group called a colony. Bees have a very important job. They help flowers make seeds. When a bee lands on a flower, it gets yellow dust on its legs. This dust is called pollen. The bee flies to a new flower. It drops the yellow dust there. This moving of dust is called pollination. Pollination helps new plants grow. Bees also drink sweet water from flowers called nectar. They take the nectar home to make honey. Without bees, we would not have apples or strawberries!
