Perry was not like other pirates. He did not like to plunder and pillage, he did not like to drink rum and grog, and he did not like to wear black and red. Perry loved the color pink. He loved pink so much that he painted his ship pink, he wore a pink hat and a pink coat, and he even had a pink parrot named Pinky.

Perry’s crew did not mind his pink obsession. They liked Perry because he was kind and generous, and he always shared his treasure with them. They also liked Pinky because he was funny and smart, and he could imitate any sound he heard.

One day, Perry and his crew were sailing on the pink sea, looking for a new adventure. They spotted a small island with a tall palm tree. Perry decided to explore the island, hoping to find some pink flowers or pink fruits. He took Pinky with him and left his crew on the ship.

As Perry and Pinky walked on the island, they saw a beautiful sight. There was a cave that was filled with pink crystals. The crystals sparkled and shimmered in the sunlight, creating a dazzling display of colors. Perry was amazed by the cave. He had never seen anything so pink and pretty in his life.

He entered the cave, eager to see more of the crystals. He picked up one of them and held it in his hand. It felt warm and smooth, like a precious gem. He smiled and said to Pinky, “This is the best treasure ever! We have to take some of these crystals back to the ship!”

Pinky agreed and said, “Squawk! Pink treasure! Pink treasure!”

They started to collect some of the crystals, putting them in a sack that Perry had brought with him. They did not notice that they were being watched by a pair of yellow eyes from the shadows.

The eyes belonged to a dragon who lived in the cave. The dragon was very proud of his crystals. He had collected them over many years, from different places in the world. He loved his crystals more than anything else. He did not like anyone touching his crystals, especially not a pink pirate and a pink parrot.

The dragon decided to teach them a lesson. He roared loudly and breathed out a stream of fire. The fire hit the wall of the cave, causing some of the crystals to fall down and shatter.

Perry and Pinky heard the roar and saw the fire. They were terrified. They dropped their sack of crystals and ran out of the cave as fast as they could.

The dragon followed them, still roaring and breathing fire. He chased them all the way to the beach, where Perry’s ship was waiting for them.

Perry’s crew saw the dragon and panicked. They grabbed their swords and guns, ready to fight the beast.

But Perry had a different idea. He remembered something that he had read in a book about dragons. He knew that dragons were very intelligent and could understand human speech. He also knew that dragons liked shiny things, especially gold.

He took off his hat and coat, revealing his pink shirt underneath. He also took off his necklace, which was made of gold coins that he had found on one of his voyages.

He waved his shirt and necklace in the air, trying to get the dragon’s attention. “Hey, dragon! Look at this! I have something for you!” he shouted. The dragon stopped roaring and breathing fire. He looked at Perry with curiosity.

“What do you have?” he asked in a deep voice.

“I have some gold for you! It’s shiny and valuable, just like your crystals!” Perry said.

“Gold? Let me see!” the dragon said. He flew closer to Perry, landing on the sand near him.

Perry showed him his necklace, holding it up to the sun. “See? It’s gold! It’s yours if you want it!” he said.

The dragon examined the necklace carefully. He liked what he saw. He liked how it glittered and glowed in the light. He smiled and said, “Thank you, pink pirate! You are very generous!” He took the necklace from Perry and put it around his neck.

He looked at Perry again and said, “You can have some of my crystals if you want. They are very pretty, just like your shirt!” He flew back to the cave and brought back a sack full of crystals for Perry. He gave it to him and said, “Here you go! Enjoy your crystals!”

Perry thanked him and took the sack. He looked at Pinky and said, “See? We made a new friend!” Pinky nodded and said, “Squawk! Pink friend! Pink friend!” They hugged each other happily.

The dragon watched them with amusement. He liked them too. He said to them, “You are welcome to visit me anytime you want. I have more crystals to share with you!”

Perry and Pinky smiled and said, “Thank you, dragon! We will come back soon!” They waved goodbye to the dragon and boarded their ship. They sailed away, happy and content. They had found the best treasure ever. A pink friendship.
